Scott Peterson,
DDS, MS

Dr. Scott Peterson was raised in Pekin and graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology in 1996. At IWU, he was a member of the Titan’s 1996 Final Four basketball team. He graduated from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 2001 and earned his Orthodontics Certificate and a Master of Science Degree in 2004.

Dr. Peterson has been published in the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics and served as past president of the McLean County Dental Society. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Illinois Society of Orthodontists, McLean County Dental Society and the Central Illinois Orthodontic Study Club.

In giving back to the community, Dr. Peterson is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Bloomington and participates in the Walk to Cure Diabetes fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Dr. Peterson and his wife, Kristen, a 1998 ISU graduate, reside in Bloomington and are very proud parents of three children: Paige, Ryan and Matthew.
